Hitters with larger hands are constantly fighting standard retail wood bats. The handles feel too thin, causing you to over-grip, which tires out your forearms and causes the bat to slip during heavy swings. On top of that, if you want extra barrel length to cover the outer half of the plate, giant brands usually force you into a massive, top-heavy log that kills your hand speed on inside fastballs.
The TAP5 fixes this exact mechanical problem:
Built specifically for hitters with big hands, this model features a thicker 0.95" handle paired with a signature flared knob. This design catches your bottom hand naturally, giving you a completely secure, slip-free grip and added confidence when you need to protect the plate with two strikes.
Instead of ballooning the barrel diameter and making the bat top-heavy, the TAP5 prioritizes barrel length. This unique shape gives you deep plate coverage across the outer half and better protection against inside pitches, all while keeping the swing weight incredibly fast. You get an extended sweet spot without the dead, dragging feel of a traditional end-loaded bat.
If you want maximum barrel length without sacrificing your swing speed, the TAP5 is built for you.
