The game is changing. Catchers must adapt and so should their gear. Pitchers are throwing harder with more movement. The wild pitches are getting wilder (not to mention the backswings). Catchers equipment must provide confidence to react without question or distraction. Unrestrained, secure, and of course protected.
All eyes look to All-Star® for innovation in catchers protection. Over 60 years of product innovation, collaboration with pro players, designers, engineers, and independent test labs has led us to the MVP-PRO kit. This gear is our sign to the baseball world that we have entered a new era in catching.
Catchers are facing bat and ball impacts from all angles. The MVP-PRO Helmet is the choice of most professional catchers because it has Deflexionâ„¢ shock hammocks that disperse energy from direct impacts. The I-BAR BSPâ„¢ Cage provides back swing protection for coverage against wild swings.
The MVP-PRO Chest Protector is designed to help you adapt to the evolution of the catcher position so you can be faster, more protected, and secure even the wildest pitches. Our new 3DU Bar™ technology increases the blocking area by 50% enabling you to keep everything in front.
The MVP-PRO Leg Guards are specifically designed for the 1KD (One Knee Down) stance. It’s about time catchers had gear that provided the added flexibility to work the zone and increase their responsiveness. Our brand new revolutionary SHIFT™ technology moves with you to cover more of the thigh for better 1KD protection.
