Using the Catcher's Gear Fit Guide
Disclaimer: As with any fit guide or sizing chart, there is a margin of error. This guide is designed to provide an accurate assessment of the needed size for each individual piece.
Please note, the "fit" from one manufacturer to the next may differ
Age is not always indicative of the correct size needed, but more times than not is accurate
At times, sizes will overlap in the charts below. This can be due to the different manufacturers sizing. Be sure to size accordingly
Generally, catcher's gear designed for Tee Ball, Jr Youth, or Youth play are gender neutral as far as the fit is concerned
How to Determine Catcher's Helmet Size:
Place a measuring tape around your head, just above the ears where your hat would naturally rest
Take the total circumference (distance around) in inches and reference the chart below
This measurement will determine your "Fitted Hat Size" which is how catchers helmets are sized
For example, if you measured 22 ¾", then your fitted hat size is 7 ¼"
Each individual helmet's size range will be provided inthe Item Description
Typically, there are two sizes of catchers helmets available:
Youth(Small)
Most Youth helmets are generally sized between: 6 1/8" - 7" (Individual sizes may vary)
Adult(Large)
Most Adult helmets are generally sized between: 7" - 7 3/4" (Individual sizes may vary)
